2011~ The Year in Review

As a way to bid 2011 adieu I decided to outline my year in running. In 2011 running and races have become such a big part of my life. I felt that it would only be right to display a picture and my results from each of my races. Some pictures better than others and some times better than others. The progression and the growth of my running over the course of the year is phenomenal. I now know that in 2012 how to set achievable goals and not just running to run, but running to be better.

Missing from the Year in Review Album is the Tunnel to Towers Run and The Massapequa Turkey Trot. Unfortunately those two races do brag some of my better times.

  1. Nice pace there, especially the last 5 miler. What are your goals in 2012?

  2. That race was so frustrating because I forgot to retie my shoes and had to do so halfway through! My goals in 2012 is to get under a 7:00 pace and ultimately I would like to place in the top ten in my age group (24-29) before my 30th birthday in June.... and always tie my shoes before a race!

    How about you?

  3. Rookie mistake on the shoe laces - you could've had a sub-7 pace! :) But I know your goals are more than attainable. Good luck.

I'm trying to break 1:30 in NYC Half this March. And hopefully run a sub-3 marathon some time this year. If I can magically do those two things, then I'll focus on ultras thereafter. But most importantly - I wanna run without injury.
